SoCal Exterior Renovation & Hardscape Transformation

Papaya Construction recently completed a full-scale exterior renovation and hardscape upgrade for a beautiful Southern California property, combining craftsmanship, functionality, and modern style.

This project enhanced the home’s curb appeal while improving its outdoor living spaces and long-term durability.

We began by excavating approximately 4,000 square feet across the front and back yards, removing all existing soil, vegetation, and debris to the required depth.

This created a clean and stable base for the new installations.

The existing sprinkler system was fully removed and replaced with a new irrigation system, including updated piping, valves, and sprinkler heads, ensuring proper coverage for the redesigned landscape.

All areas were graded and leveled to achieve a smooth surface and proper water drainage.

The soil was then mechanically compacted in all necessary areas to create a firm and stable foundation for the upcoming installations.

We installed 2,900 square feet of artificial grass, beginning with a compacted crushed rock base, followed by weed barrier fabric, and securing the turf around all edges.

The turf was brushed and filled with infill material to enhance durability and appearance.

We also installed 1,100 square feet of porcelain pavers, placing them over a compacted base and setting each paver to ensure precise alignment and levelness.

The joints were filled, and the surface was checked for stability.

Upon completion, we performed a full site cleanup, removing all construction materials and leaving the property neat, organized, and ready for immediate use.

Freshly Painted Siding

We revitalized both the main home and the guest house with freshly painted siding.

Using premium exterior paint, we ensured the surfaces are protected from Southern California’s sun exposure while giving the property a crisp, updated look

Concrete Walkways & Pavers

Our crew installed durable concrete walkways and decorative pavers around the home, creating smooth, attractive, and long-lasting paths.

These upgrades improved both the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the outdoor space.

Outdoor Porcelain Tile Installation

To elevate the property’s patio and gathering areas, we installed outdoor porcelain tiles.
